Creative Mindfulness classes for children
In our central London venue, we are introducing children to different tactics to help calm their minds, understand their thoughts and feelings.
Children are taught how to cultivate kindness for themselves and others, through creativity, art, craft, stories, meditation, visualization and discussion.
What to expect during term
Classes are drawn up according to children's age and follow a curriculum which is fun, exciting and stimulating for each age group.
Our term time classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 children per class. This allows each child to explore confidently their creative mind and emotions. I believe the children's ideas should be celebrated at all times during my class.

ABOUT ME
Certified and Accredited Teacher.
Growing up in the countryside of Portugal, nature was always part of my childhood, making it easier to connect to my senses and surroundings.
I knew then, the importance of living present in the moment.
But after moving abroad for professionnal reasons, I somehow drifted away from the wisdom of my upbringing.
In the UK, I have been blessed with a long and fruitful carreer in children's education. I was awarded a BA in Teaching and worked for over 16 years in Early Years Education at prestigious London Schools, boasting outstanding ofsted grades.
I discovered Mindfulness when I was going through a very difficult time in my private life.
Learning how to implement Mindfulness in my day to day life, gave me the tools and technics to cope with multiple life threathning cancer diagnosis.
Creative Mindfulness Practicionner.
Through the daily practice of Mindfulness, I found the Emotional Resilience and self-compassion to survive against all odds and transform my life and those around me forever.
In remission, I went on to work for a local Art school in the heart of London, teaching children from the age of 16 month to 10 years old.
Teaching has always been my passion, so in order to pass on this life changing knowledge to young children; I got trained and qualified as a Creative Mindfulness practitioner; awarded by IMMA* and the CPP**.
If happyness comes from within, I believe there is a path to it inside everyone's heart and mindfulness is a reliable guide to help us navigate the maze of our souls.
However Mindfulness takes practice, so why not start early?
It's never too early to be happy.
